京都御所秋季一般公開For a limited period, the Imperial Palace will open its august doors to the general public.
From October 31 November 4, it is possible to enter.
Reservations are not required and admission is free.
All facilities connected to the Japanese royal family are managed by the Imperial Household Agency, or Kunaicho.
For those cycling, the Imperial Palace (Gosho) is a huge rectangular park due north of downtown or just south of Doshisha University.
