February is about the coldest time of year, but the calendar of events keeps on turning.
The biggest event of the month is Setsubun, which takes place on February 3rd.
A daytime event at Rozanji Temple, to the east of the Imperial Palace, and a nighttime festival and bonfire at Yoshida Shrine are both worth attending.
