Miho Museum is a fabulous facility in the hills of Shigaraki, Shiga Prefecture.
For mere mortals - those not interested in cycling from Kyoto thereto - the trip is a ride on JR and then a local bus ride.
For those hellbent on cycling, get ready.
It is about 35 km (22 miles) of urban, suburban, exurban, and rural riding.
The goal is well worth it.
