京都冬自転車On the ride to work this morning - from Ninnaji Temple to Demachiyanagi, where we catch the train to Osaka - there was a light dusting of snow on the roads.
It was nothing to be nervous about - but the extremities were very, very cold on the ride.
The photo is dated, but this is roughly what Kyoto looked like this morning: white powder on the mountains in the distance.
As we do every year, we are now seriously considering buying the lobster mitt type gloves.
