Daikakuji Temple in western Kyoto will be hosting its annual moon viewing festivities at the end of September.
From September 28 - 30, the Jugoya Moon Viewing at Daikaku-ji Temple will take place.
For 500 yen, one can enjoy tea by Osawa Pond, which is large and lovely and right next to the temple.
For those with 1500 yen to spare, a boat ride is thrown in.
On each of the three nights, the event is held from 17:00-21:00, though it won't get dark until about 6 pm.
