At Hokyoji Temple, in north central Kyoto, there will be a memorial service for the many dolls within the temple.
On October 14 a ceremony will begin at 10:30 am. The temple opens its doors at 10 am.
Hokyoji Temple is more commonly known at "Ningyo Dera" (Doll Temple).
For centuries, the dolls of the girls in the Imperial family have been donated to this temple.
At the performance, geisha will dance.
Also, in November, the annual fall exhibit of the many dolls will take place at Hokyoji. From November 1 - 30, the dolls will be on display daily from 10 am to 4 pm (last entry at 3:30 pm).
The entry fee is 600 yen.

For those taking public transportation: take Kyoto City Bus #9, and get off at Horikawa Teranouchi.
