The Kyoto Municipal Museum of Art is putting on a big ticket exhibit this fall.
89 masterpieces from collection of works in the Hermitage Museum will be in Okazaki this fall.
The works include pieces by Titian, Rubens, and Rembrandt; Monet, Cézanne, Picasso and Matisse.
One of Matisse's masterpieces, The Red Room (Harmony in Red), will be back in Kyoto for the first time in 30 years.
The exhibition spans four centuries of work, featuring paintings from the 16th through 20th Centuries.
Get ready to stand in line.
For cyclists, the museum is a short flat ride from central Kyoto.
